Oana is the Managing Partner of MDM Legal and has more than 30 years of experience in corporate, commercial, mergers & acquisitions, real estate and financial transactions. She regularly advises international investors, real estate developers and investment funds, from both within and outside the European Union, on their businesses and projects in Romania, in sectors such as real estate, agriculture, insurance and telecommunications.
Her experience includes coordinating legal due diligence investigations, share and asset acquisitions, spin-offs and mergers, bank financing and related security packages, as well as negotiating construction and office lease agreements.
Oana has graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, and she has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 1999.

- Advising one of the leaders of the international insurance groups in the CEE on corporate, employment, and insurance matters
- Providing ongoing assistance to Greek real estate developers for their local projects in Romania (including assistance for the acquisition and further lease of a commercial gallery in Bucharest)
- Providing ongoing assistance to a UK real estate developer for its local projects in Romania
- Providing ongoing assistance to a major real estate investment fund for the set-up of SPVs, the acquisition and further sale of several plots of land located in different areas in Romania (including Braila, Drobeta, Baia Mare)
- Providing on-going assistance to a group of companies belonging to Indian/UAE investors, acting in the field of agriculture / farming in Romania, as well as assistance related to special projects (acquisition of farms, based on a share deal, acquisition of plots of land, sale of immovable property etc.)
- Providing on-going assistance to major distributor of agricultural equipment (one of the top 3 agricultural equipment brands active on the Romanian market) for corporate, commercial, real estate, employment matters
- Assisting Romanian real estate developer with the negotiation of ongoing construction agreements
- Coordinated and implemented spin off / merger projects at the level of real estate developers
- Assistance in the drafting and negotiation of various office lease agreements for office buildings (Romanian and Greek investors)
- Providing assistance to Turkish investors with respect to their subsidiaries in Romania, acting in the agricultural field, with respect to obtaining bank financing and set-up of related securities, as well as assistance with respect to their daily activities
- Providing assistance to international, UK based foundation caring for deaf-blind children and its Romanian subsidiary
- Providing on-going assistance to the Romanian subsidiary of Greek company acting in the field of telecommunications technology
